Qualifications & Certifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process, assessment tools, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working across a range of age groups and ability levels
- Previous experience in educational settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized occupational therapy assessments for students (K-12)
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and parents to support each student’s goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to support student-centered decisions
- Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse learning and developmental needs
