Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license required.
- IVP Fingerprint Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Preferred: Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience serving in a school-based OT position is highly regarded.
- Ability to travel to multiple school locations within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across various educational sites.
- Assess, plan, and implement treatment interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Maintain ongoing documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal standards.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations for student accommodations and goals.
