Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapy license
- Preferred: Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience supporting children in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites and adapt to varied needs
- IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
- Travel between schools within the district to serve assigned caseload
- Conduct evaluations, provide therapy sessions, and collaborate on goal-setting
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure carryover of interventions
- Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely, organized manner
- Participate in IEP meetings as an engaged team member
- Address a range of student needs from mild to severe, implementing creative, individualized interventions
