An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Occupational Therapists seeking a full-time, onsite contract role supporting students at Piedmont Hills School and McCollam Center, located near Redwood City, CA. Key Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure as per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy, especially with developmental disabilities
- Prior work in school or educational settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Commitment to onsite services—remote or hybrid options are not available
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring specifically for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting developmental goals and independence in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input for educational planning, and support broader team objectives
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district documentation standards
- Serve as an accessible resource for classroom adaptations and parent/caregiver guidance
This is a full-time position (approximately 37.5 hours per week) embedded within a supportive educational environment where your expertise will be highly valued.
