Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for students according to their educational and developmental needs
- Conduct evaluations and maintain thorough documentation to support educational progress and compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
- Provide direct therapy sessions in school and, when appropriate, home settings
- Offer training and resources for staff and caregivers to enhance student participation and achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to strategic goal-setting and progress reviews
- Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and continuing education
