Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with active credentials (or eligibility for licensure in the state)
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Proficient with assessment tools, IEP development, and therapeutic interventions
- Skilled in communicating effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping students reach their potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services designed to enhance students’ participation and performance in school activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and document progress
- Provide targeted interventions, adaptations, and recommendations to support learning and access
- Educate teachers and caregivers about strategies to support students in both classroom and home environments
