What you'll need:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
- Demonstrated experience providing OT services within school settings
- Strong knowledge of student assessments, therapy planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently without a COTA
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services onsite to students, according to IEP goals and district guidelines
- Conduct assessments to determine students' therapy needs and support classroom participation
- Develop and implement intervention plans designed to improve students' functional and academic skills
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and district standards
- Consult with teachers, staff, and family members to integrate therapeutic strategies across settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress discussions
