Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to deliver therapy via teletherapy platforms, in-home, and on-site as needed
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and fellow providers
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload and flexibly adapt to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ needs and abilities in educational environments
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized intervention strategies
- Provide direct therapy services—onsite, remotely, and occasionally in-home—to support student IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and family members to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and school guidelines
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and staff consultations
