Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Indiana
- Relevant experience delivering OT services in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Organizational proficiency and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions and evaluations for students, adjusting caseload based on agreed availability
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student success across K-12 grades
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and monitor student progress throughout the assignment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and professional standards
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff and families regarding student needs and therapeutic strategies
This contract role runs during regular school hours, Monday–Friday, 7:45am–3:45pm, with schedule flexibility based on your availability—whether you can offer two days or a full week. You’ll make a tangible difference during a key period for students and contribute meaningful support to the educational community.
