Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan occupational therapy license (proof required; please send a screenshot upon application)
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K-12 populations
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student population in K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and implement interventions for students with varied needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and report progress to staff and parents
- Support educators with strategies for classroom accommodations and modifications
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure high quality, student-centered care
- Adapt and modify therapeutic approaches based on student progress and needs
