Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (screenshot required with application; verification link included)
- Previous school-based OT experience, with demonstrated knowledge of K-12 student needs
- Comfortable working full-time in an educational setting from August 17, 2026, to June 11, 2027 (dates tentative)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practices for student development and progress
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across K-12th grade, adapting interventions to individual and group needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student IEPs and learning objectives
- Evaluate student progress, document interventions, and provide regular updates to the educational team
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to development and review of IEPs
- Stay current with best practices and state/national regulations regarding school-based OT services
