This contract opportunity is located near Rochester, MI, and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week for the 2026–2027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Current, valid Michigan OT license (please submit a screenshot of your active license with your application)
- Previous experience working in schools or educational settings
- Comfort working with a diverse student population (K–age 26)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Dedication to delivering onsite services (remote work is not available)
- Ability to work independently—no COTA oversight required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, evaluate, and document students’ progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Educate teachers and support staff on strategies to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to optimize each student’s educational journey
