Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Strong background working with children in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Experience delivering therapy services within school environments, including developing and implementing IEP goals
- Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Proficiency supporting students with diverse needs, including sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills challenges
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple grade levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students in Pre-K through Grade 12
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as specified in IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation in classroom settings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Educate staff and families on strategies to foster student independence and skill development
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy
