Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Massachusetts OT license required
- Previous experience with children in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of current OT assessment tools and IEP process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs and diverse caseloads
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess referred students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services onsite to K–12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student participation and independence in school activities
- Provide consultation and training to classroom staff to support student accommodations and modifications
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and service delivery in accordance with state and district requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
