Key Experience & Skills:
- Valid, active Missouri Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Prior school-based OT experience, especially with a diverse student population, highly valued
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to accommodate a range of student needs within assigned age groups
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication to partner with educators and families
- Willingness to fulfill fingerprinting and district-specific credentialing requirements, including technology forms
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide direct therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
- Engage collaboratively with special education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress regularly
- Adjust approaches as necessary to meet evolving needs and ensure compliance with all district policies
This position runs from mid-October 2026 through late January 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Multiple schools may be involved within the district; assignments will be clarified prior to onboarding.
