School Occupational Therapist | Saint Paul, Minnesota

Multiple contract Occupational Therapy opportunities are available for the upcoming academic year, offering the experience of working with diverse student populations across a single building, with assignment locations including South, North, Ann Bremer, and West Education Centers.
You'll collaborate with passionate educators to positively shape students’ functional, academic, and social success. Full-time roles are open, and a unique long-term substitute opportunity is also available to cover the first couple of months of the school year (dates TBD).
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Comfort managing a caseload of 20-40 students, including students in Setting 4
- Strong ability to design and deliver both individual and group therapy programs
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and initiative in tailoring interventions to students’ unique needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and developing IEP goals tailored to student strengths
- Delivering treatment sessions for students, fostering functional, developmental, and academic skills
- Maintaining clear documentation and progress monitoring
- Providing consultation, resources, and training to classroom staff
- Communicating progress and recommendations to families and school teams
- Contributing actively to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaborations
