Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs within a school-based setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals, ensuring compliance with best practices and district standards.
- Deliver direct therapy services targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive functioning for middle and high school students.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports as required for special education compliance.
- Serve as a resource and consultant to teachers, staff, and parents to maximize students’ success in the educational environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborate on IEP planning, and attend relevant trainings or professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Preferences:
- Active State Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Previous experience working with middle and high school populations is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in conducting school-based evaluations and crafting targeted IEP goals.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload and adapting to hybrid work arrangements.
