School Occupational Therapist | Salem, Oregon
Make a difference in students’ lives by delivering occupational therapy services at the elementary school level for the entire 2025/26 academic year. This onsite contract opportunity—located near Salem, OR—welcomes both part-time and full-time candidates who are ready to support young learners by providing expert OT care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations or school-aged students
- Familiarity with providing OT services in educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Reliable and organized, able to manage caseloads and school-based scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop appropriate OT intervention plans tailored to each child’s educational goals
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary students, adapting techniques as necessary to meet diverse abilities
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service providers to facilitate student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records to support IEPs, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to student support teams
