Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ growth and independence as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year! Two full-time positions are available, each offering a dynamic environment to utilize your expertise in occupational therapy within an educational setting.
In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans that address students’ unique needs. With 40 hours per week and opportunities to remain through the end of the school year—and potentially into the following academic year—you’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact while expanding your skills in a supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and caseloads
- Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to establish goals and progress monitoring
- Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation, resources, and training to staff and families
