Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid California Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Experience or familiarity with school-based OT practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and schedules
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, supporting their ability to access the educational curriculum
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set appropriate goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and communication with staff and families
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Deliver interventions to promote development of fine motor skills, self-care skills, and sensory processing within the school environment
- Manage a caseload with students across a range of ages and needs as assigned
