Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving diverse students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the area near San Bernardino, CA. This position offers you the chance to collaborate with dedicated teams across multiple campuses, supporting students in their educational journeys and making a lasting impact. Two full-time openings are available, with assignments starting after mid-August (pending Board approval) and running through early November or early January, with one position offering a possible extension.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Candidates must not be in their Clinical Fellowship year
- Strong understanding of direct therapy, indirect services, and IEP processes
- Comfortable with itinerant assignments across multiple campuses
- Able to work full-time hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
What You'll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Serve students across a diverse caseload utilizing a caseload model
- Complete evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support for both students and educational staff
- Manage travel between assigned schools and maintain organized records
- Participate in team meetings and receive paid admin/indirect time
