Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Bernardino, CA

This full-time opportunity focuses on providing occupational therapy services to infants, working closely with families and school staff to ensure each child’s unique needs are met. Based near Riverside, CA, you’ll make a direct impact by facilitating growth and independence in the youngest learners from early August 2026 through late May 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Familiarity with early intervention and infant development
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ individualized needs
- Develop and implement effective, evidence-based intervention plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to infants, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals across settings
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and professional guidelines
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as necessary
- Adapt interventions as needed throughout the academic year based on student progress
As a valued member of the support team, you’ll gain experience in school-based practice, interact with multidisciplinary specialists, and be part of a supportive environment with a clearly established schedule—40 hours per week, aligned to the academic calendar. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping children increase independence and achieve developmental milestones during a critical time in their growth.
