Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience working in California school settings
- Proficiency in administering BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students aged 3-22 with diverse needs
- Demonstrated experience developing data-driven recommendations and addressing parent concerns
- Capable of working independently in the field, managing and prioritizing a flexible schedule across up to 6 sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Ability to handle fluctuating caseloads (approx. 70-80 students), adapting as needs change
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, consultations, and ongoing therapy services to students aged 3-22, including those with multiple disabilities
- Develop individual treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals and district requirements
- Independently create and adjust your schedule based on district needs
- Deliver therapy across a range of settings and school sites, effectively triaging caseload priorities
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress
