Job Overview:
We are hiring a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in San Jacinto, California. This onsite role supports TK–12th grade students across multiple campuses. Ideal candidates are passionate about helping students develop functional skills and succeed in an educational setting.
Caseload Details:
- Approximately 55 students
- TK–12th grade population
- Multiple school sites within the district
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in and lead IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and compliance records
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Experience participating in and leading IEP meetings
- Familiarity with SEIS preferred
- Strong technology skills and ability to manage digital documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
