Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting, particularly with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for different age groups and classroom environments
- Reliable transportation to manage a split schedule between districts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students as determined by their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Perform assessments and evaluations, documenting findings and contributing to team development of student-centered goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster inclusive and supportive educational experiences
- Communicate progress, strategies, and recommendations clearly to staff and families
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
