Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessing and developing both fine and gross motor skills
- Comfortable working with early childhood, elementary, and middle school populations (Pre K- Grade 8)
- Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other therapists
- Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans targeting students’ motor skill needs
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for children in general and special education
- Collaborate with educators to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies
- Advocate for accessible, equitable learning environments for all students
