This contract-based role serves youth aged PreK through 22 years in a dynamic school setting around the San Juan Capistrano area, with itinerant coverage primarily in the San Clemente and Mission Viejo regions. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Prior experience in school settings and comfort working with a wide age range (PreK–22 years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and school staff
- Willingness to travel between campus sites regionally as needed
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
- Enthusiastic about serving diverse student populations
- Please note: This position is for licensed OTs only; COTAs will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student participation and learning
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all required reporting
- Adapt interventions based on data, progress, and the needs of a changing district environment
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
