Desired Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid, current OT license for California
- Hands-on experience in a school-based occupational therapy role
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to organize a flexible schedule to serve multiple campuses
- Positive, adaptable attitude and a passion for student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of your weekly duties
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to achieve student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely, detailed documentation
- Offer training and support to teachers and family members on occupational therapy approaches
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student independence
