Per Diem Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sandusky, OH

Working on-site, you'll collaborate with educators and families, focusing on preschool through grade 12 students at a single campus. Your expertise will be integral in conducting evaluations, recommending interventions, and ensuring that each student receives the tailored support necessary for success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license required
- Background or experience in school-based occupational therapy highly desired
- Comfort working with PreK-12 student populations
- Ability to perform and document student evaluations effectively
- Professional adaptability and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations in support of IEP/504 processes
- Provide hands-on occupational therapy services onsite for PreK-12 grades as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on service plans and progress
- Document and manage therapy records, updating as necessary to meet compliance
- Adjust caseload based on school needs, maximizing your impact where it matters most
