Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ needs and abilities within the educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom activities
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate school staff and families about occupational therapy techniques and adaptations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student independence and participation
