Occupational Therapist School Setting - Santa Barbara, CA

Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Prior experience working in school-based settings or healthcare environments preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric assessment, IEP development, and therapy planning for students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Deliver occupational therapy services to support students’ functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development
- Participate as a key member of IEP teams, providing input and progress reports aligned with student goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies in the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies related to therapy delivery
