Essential Qualifications:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (TK-5th grade preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexible, compassionate, and enthusiastic about fostering student independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
- Design and deliver interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress towards goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with educational teams
- Provide guidance and support for teachers and parents regarding adaptive techniques and equipment
