Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K–5 settings
- Strong knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Professionalism and adaptability to school routines and diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and needs related to academic and daily activities
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in partnership with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the classroom and school settings
- Track student progress and maintain compliance with documentation requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
