Your role will be impactful and fulfilling, with flexible scheduling for therapy sessions taking place between 9am and 3pm. Whether you’re a seasoned OT or a dedicated COTA partnered with a licensed OT supervisor remotely, you’ll make a tangible difference in students’ lives while relishing the adventure of travel work.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico OT license (or COTA with virtual OT supervision)
- NMPED licensure required
- Experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to engage students in grades 7–12
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide approximately 6–10 hours/week of direct and indirect therapy (potential for increased hours)
- Deliver effective, student-centered interventions onsite
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support optimal learning outcomes
- Ensure thorough documentation per school requirements
