Step into a fulfilling role supporting student growth and success as a part-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you'll work closely with students in transitional kindergarten through 5th grade, ensuring they receive the specialized care and encouragement they need to thrive. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule—just 8 hours weekly across 2 days (approximately 8:30 am to 12:30 pm)—allowing for meaningful work-life balance and professional satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working with children in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to assess and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate interventions
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to support academic and social participation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation according to educational and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student goal-setting
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse individual needs across the TK-5th grade spectrum
