Occupational Therapist School Setting in Schaumburg, IL

Desired Background, Licensure, and Experience:
- Current Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) clinical license
- Active educator license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and work effectively within a collaborative team
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students ages Pre-K to 22 in various school settings
- Support students’ growth in motor skills, self-regulation, independence, and participation in educational activities
- Consult and coordinate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Manage a dynamic caseload, adjusting services as needed across multiple school sites
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
