Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Active Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Ability to adapt across multiple school sites and age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Required to complete fingerprinting and credentialing steps
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students from preschool to transition age (up to 22)
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized OT plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Travel to assigned schools within the district—each day brings unique settings and new students
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and multidisciplinary staff
- Support and guide staff through training and consultation as needed
This on-site position offers consistent daytime hours, with full-time scheduling between 35-37.5 hours per week, based on school start/end times.
