Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and current OT licensure.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of IEP documentation and implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning styles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
- Conduct assessments and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Maintain regular documentation and progress reports in line with school policies.
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services based on student needs.
- Remain flexible and responsive to varying caseloads and priorities during the coverage period.
