Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be current
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Skills in OT best practices for school-aged students, plus knowledge of home health and healthcare OT approaches
- Supervisory experience or willingness to manage a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary and some junior high students
- Assess, plan, and implement student-centered OT interventions in collaboration with educational staff
- Supervise and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, ensuring best practices and compliance
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Engage effectively with families and teachers to foster student growth
