We're seeking dedicated professionals—either Occupational Therapists or Speech Language Pathologists—to fill two contract openings for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role allows you to spend your summer mornings enriching young lives while enjoying the flexibility of part-time hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, K-12 preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow therapy providers
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and fostering student growth
- Ability to start and complete the ESY term: June 29th through August 6th
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT or SLP services, adapted for K-12 student needs
- Maintain records and document student progress according to school requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal student outcomes
- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities to support student goals
- Participate in planning and evaluation meetings as needed
Assignment Details:
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday each week
- Morning hours: 8:45am – 12:15pm
- K-12 caseload in a supportive and collegial school environment
