Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with students in schools, ideally across early childhood, elementary, and secondary grades
- Proficiency in assessment and intervention for children from Pre-K through Grade 12
- Proven ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs across multiple age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to students in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ strengths and needs, translating findings into actionable treatment goals
- Collaborate with education teams to integrate therapy recommendations into classroom routines and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and families to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies at school and home
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress reports as required by school policies and regulations
