This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August through May. As a vital member of the onsite educational team, you'll provide support, assessments, and interventions directly impacting student success. Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid in Florida
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT assessments and interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Passion for supporting students with a variety of needs in their educational environments
- Ability to work full-time, onsite, for the duration of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth and participation in classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Adapt sessions to meet diverse physical, sensory, and developmental needs
