Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state OT licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience supporting students in early childhood, Pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to adapt to different grade levels and settings
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine OT service needs and goals
- Implement evidence-based intervention plans individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to maximize student participation and performance
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Consult with families to provide strategies for student growth both in and out of the classroom
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
