Working two days a week, you’ll play an essential role in helping students thrive by delivering evidence-based OT interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based OT environment preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services directly to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop student-centered goals and strategies
- Travel between one to two school sites as needed on assigned days
