Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid, active Texas SLP License required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Expertise in OT teletherapy, including comfort with virtual platforms (VOCO experience a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work within an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledgeable about school OT best practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with billing software
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
- Evaluate and design individualized treatment plans to support students’ academic success and functional skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and licensure standards
- Adapt interventions to meet the needs of each student, ensuring accessible and equitable support
