Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrated experience working as an OT within schools
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Comfort with managing a diverse caseload spanning various age groups and abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in the classroom
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with educators and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain compliance with school-based procedures
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success
- Participate in relevant professional development and training sessions
