Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license (or eligibility) in Delaware
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Organized approach to documentation and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions (individual and group) to address IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create classroom strategies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations as needed
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district requirements
- Adapt interventions to meet the evolving needs of students
