What We're Looking For:
- Georgia state Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably K-12
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and related compliance
- Solid clinical and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and family members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and proactive
What You'll Do:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and create targeted treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school environment
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
- Document and maintain accurate records per district and state guidelines
- Provide guidance to teachers and families on strategies to support students’ development
- Actively engage in professional growth and ongoing education
