Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a split schedule across multiple school locations
- Interest in providing supervision for a COTA, if required
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver OT services to elementary and some middle school students in two districts (Bangor: K-4 and 5-12; Hartford: K-5 and 6-12)
- Address IEP goals and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Adapt interventions and strategies to meet varied student needs
- Organize and manage your flexible weekly schedule; typically two days each in Hartford and Bangor, with the fifth day reserved for paperwork, evaluations, or additional services based on your judgment
- Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and student progress tracking
