Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (please have license screenshot ready for submission)
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers and support staff
- Passion for helping children and adolescents achieve their goals
- Knowledge of school-based OT practices and compliance requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess K-12 students referred for OT services and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy focused on fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and functional academic skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ participation and learning
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to ensure student progress
